The AlterPublishing Awards
Each year, AlterPublishing singles out one book published in its catalogue.
This prize highlights a book that stands out for the power of its writing, the uniqueness of its voice, or the accuracy of its perspective. It is not an open competition: the prize is awarded to a work published by AlterPublishing.

The AlterPublishing Award Rules
1. Price scope
The prize is awarded to a book listed in the AlterPublishing catalogue, across all genres: novel, narrative, essay, memoir, theatre, chronicles, children's literature or hybrid forms.
2. Selection procedures
The winner is chosen by AlterPublishing. The selection is based on an editorial assessment that considers, in particular:

the quality of the writing,

the uniqueness of the voice,

consistency with AlterPublishing's editorial line,

the book's journey since its publication.
3. Applications
The prize is not open to applications. Only works published by AlterPublishing are eligible.
4. Awarding of the prize
The prize is awarded once a year. AlterPublishing reserves the right not to award the prize in a given year.
5. Announcement and communication
The winner is announced on the AlterPublishing website and may be the subject of dedicated publicity. On this occasion, AlterPublishing may use the author's name, the title of the work, its cover, and excerpts from the book.
