Julien Scavini created the blog Stiff Collar  in 2009, upon entering the Ecole des Tailleurs. Initially, his blog spoke about how to easily learn this manual job on a daily basis. Gradually, the weekly articles began to decipher the usages and customs attached to the traditional suits and men's clothing. How to appreciate a good suit? What is a tuxedo? When do we put on black shoes?

From the beginning and for each chronicle, Julien tries to illustrate the subject himself, with a figurine and a characteristic clear design! This first notebook is an annotated compilation of the best drawings.

Julien is the author of two books: ModeMen at Marabout and 100 per cent chic at Editions du Figaro. Furthermore, every week, Le Figaro Magazine publishes an exclusive illustrated chronicle.
